Something just happened on IBKR.

Could be, I didnt´t calculate it so I can´t say for sure.

Guys, the whole purpose of this post is to ask if I´m crazy or is definately something wrong here.
You are unfamiliar with the accounting for after hour trades.

I will explain again. I bought SNOW after hours after the crash. That day my NAV was X. Sold it the day after for a combined loo of 280$. NAV that day was X-1037.74. Please explain the accounting so I understand.

I am talking to them but they are basing their argument on what the statement calculated. My total daily loss was 1090.69 with SNOW being 280.39 and the rest futures but they took 2128.48.

By debit I mean the difference in account NAV between the 24 and 25th.

My assumption is the system calculated my entry as being in the close of day before the after hours crash.

Ok I dunno about futures cuz I don't trade futures. All I know is they use LIFO instead of FIFO or something for P&L calculation and that can cause discrepancies but that shouldn't affect cash. Cash is cash.

Exactly. Discrepancies are normal, not an unaccounted for loss on Total cash. Thank you by the way. You were the only one who made an effort to help.

Not exactly. At least two other posters Trandy and Maverick 2608 posted useful info.

You sure do post a lot and edit even more, nothing useful or that even makes the slightest sense. Since you can´t explain the difference in account value between the 24th and the 25th I will just assume that you don´t know what you are talking about or that you´re just here to troll. Either way, have a nice day and thank you for your contribution.

If you can't hear the truth, then don't ask the question.

You didn't provide enough details for anyone to help you understanding these numbers.
All responses will just be pure speculation.

You're welcome.
