Applying shadows and darker tones. Gonna buy my own place instead of renting. Oh boi. Get that comfortable table & chair ready.
& It has to be next to window. No lamp matches the quality of a real light,
it's a luxury to draw under sunlight.

That's a nice piece, good work.

edit: Are the red arrows part of it or annotations?

Thanks,

no, red arrows only to point out the areas that i was working at the time.
I keep dragging with this piece for over a year if not two.
One month of solid work & it would be done.

But, too many ,,but" for now. Will finish it. Better latter than never.

Sounds like you are on paper.

Have you experimented with Ipad Pro and Procreate?

Apple's done a great job in mimicking the feeling of traditional medium.

No, f********* that. (smiles)

Maybe some time in the future.

But a real pencil is a real pencil.

That's the essence of it all. You incorporate something relatively new (finance) into something ancient (drawing)

Ah yes, seen this one long ago. Even forgoten. That's cool. Saw a Japanese artist the other day who was creating miniature constructions (identical copies) of famous buildings etc. Out of wires or smthn.

To each one their own. Then i spend 2 hours, looking at the homeless drug addicts of Philadelphia.

To put the things into perspective.

Long, long time ago, one of the first houses I contract purchased was near Kensington Ave. The L train killed that street.

You mean the train line killed it ? The prices felt due the sound/noise ?

The L basically took the blue sky and replaced it with a rusty steel elevated infrastructure - made it dark and gloomy. When I was there, most of the businesses had shuttered.
