Software Used to Trade Jack Hershey Methods

Thanks for being so generous and responsive with your coding efforts, Palinuro.

However, I get the following message when I try to import it... any suggestions?

Many thanks,
Neo

That's odd, works fine here. Have you deleted the original assembly, as in babs2000's instructions?

Ah, that would be the reason then. Thanks!

In Doidge's book he quotes one of the plasticity dudes as saying that one of the ways to keep one's mind sharp is to learn a new language. Hmmm.

Thank you for your help.

BTW - nice tweaks.

From the summaries and reviews that book seems a popularization of (fairly) recent research - ie, that the brain rewires itself. Is that correct?

I'm not convinced learning C# would do that much to improve the mind, if that's your purpose. Human languages are much richer and more complex than programming languages.

You're welcome.

Correct. Doidge collected the various pieces and added a few of his own. Got a bit carried away with the psychoanalytic extrapolations, IMO, but WTF, it's a worthy and important read.

I agree that human languages are rich and complex, what with connotative, denotative and the myriad of 'local' cultural effects superimposed on the words and the sounds of the words.

I'll let you know if I feel intellectually improved after a bit of strictly denotative C# - the name itself suggests that I should.

Thanks Nkhoi. Downloaded Babs' update, but I'm actually in the process of transitioning to Trade Navigator. See the PM.

Regarding TN, I've got the $119 datafeed, as suggested, and have configured the program as per Spydertrader's detailed instructions, but am experiencing the same problem as LJ, in that nothing appears on the STRSQU chart. I've checked that it's set to the current YM contract, and that it's verified in the Trader's toolbox.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Neo,

If I remember correctly what you do now that you have corrected the STR-SQU Spread to the current contract is to go back and reload the PVFiles software. That should get rid of the "red" STR-SQU in the functions tab and allow you to see the actual indicator.

Lots of Luck (LofL)
