Software Used to Trade Jack Hershey Methods

Quote from LostTrader:

From the picture you posted (thank you) PRV is there ~= current Volume as the 6548 = the PRV. Side note: I cannot get the Vol tag to go on top of the PRV tag on the Y-axis. :( and have reported that as a bug.

If you drag all the bars over so that there is white space on the right side, you will see either PRV=6548 in this case or PRV off.
I stop calculating PRV if the time is outside your defined session time (via chart properties). BarTimer also turns off in this case (if you are using it in your price pane).

Because of the wild invalid jumping around when a bar first starts, you may also notice that PRV is held until the bar is at least 2% complete (2% of 5min ~=6 secs). You can certainly change that by looking at the indicator script if you disagree.

cheers,
Maxey

For some reason the VolumePRV doesn't display, neither the volume bar nor the PRV. I've tried to change my session time from the default settings but this didn't help. I'm using v6.5

LostTrader,

when I export an indicator from NT I get a .ntms file - how do you convert that to zip so it can be uploaded here?

You are on an older beta version, upgrade to the latest and a ZIP will be exported.

Thanks, I got it - there's a new version of NT almost every week.

I thought people might enjoy watching an autochannels indicator, so here is one. It's based on SpyderTrader's latest autochannel Wealthscript, as used in the 5.0 Equities chartscript.

The RTL determination sometimes does odd things, so there's definitely room for improvement and development. And I haven't fully cleaned up the code.

As in the Wealthscript, only the most recent channel is maintained but you can overlay indicators with different periods, colors etc.

I also wonder if it might be better to update at the end of the bar, so you can actually see the BO's, rather than having the channels instantly redrawn.

Anyway, hope it proves useful!

A little more info, please... What is your data feed? Some-one mentioned a problem if on external data. I am working on streamlining it & will post another this week-end.

The datafeed is Zenfire from Mirus.
I imported the script directly from the file. I didn't change any of the settings or code.

Here's a screenshot of what VolumePRV looks like on my platform:

OK, that is just weird...

I do not know. Pr0crast uses Zenfire & Mirus, and it works for him...

Make sure you are at the 6.5.08 beta, please, and try importing this one. Then after you compile it, and re-apply it on your chart, let me know if there are any messages in your log referring to VolumePRV.

Thanks!
