Hi, I hve used Telechart software and want to use a sw that will just show a few simple patterns dble bottoms symmetrical triangles pipe bottoms etc. Telechart does not provide this .What software would you folks advise (after you stop laughing at such a simple request in such an advanced site ) Also, i use Scottrade.Any help would be GREATLEY appreciated. Thank You Arnie
 
Well....any charting software will show those simple patters. It is for you to eyeball the patterns.

If you are talking about a sw program that points out the patterns, that is a very different thing.

It would take some heavy duty programing and even there it is only a tool that sometimes works.

Computers do not recognize patterns very well. Patterns are too discrete, too many variables. The human mind can recognize a simple pattern (is it a dog or a boy?) in an instant.

It takes massive computer power to rub a rather simple pattern algorithm.
