Software Question

I work for a trading firm that runs a software program that allows you to view 8 stocks on a dual screen monitor. The charges are pretty cheap about $1/1000 shares. You can buy/sell on Island, Arca, and NYSE. On NYSE there are a bunch of different gateways such as ISI, INET Rash, Mellenium, and some others. You can see a good amount of level II's and can subscribe to the NY Book (NYB). I was wondering if I could trade on my own under similar conditions...? Is there any software around that allows you to view around 8 stocks and see all the level 2's and have fast executions with cheap fees?

If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Software-wise, that's pretty standard stuff. However the rate you pay, buying power, etc is provided by your broker/firm, and has nothing to do with the software. For $1/1000 you'll need to be doing probably 1 million shares a day and have some good connections. Many firms pay more than that just to clear their trades.
