Socrates Examines Technical Strategy

I most sincerely hope that the es-steamed Mr. Hershey is following this. For I alone on ET am older than he. In fact, I am so old, I am dead. There is a marvellous maxim of your time that goes:

"Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't teach, teach others how to teach."

This eternal verity explains the Hershey-Spydertrader-Neoxx constellation.

You must remember that the height of Jack's career was authoring pamphlets for the Girl Scouts.

He is a coach of coaches, not a player. That way nothing sticks to him. He can never fail.

So if we are quite done here I am going to go be dead again thank you.

At EOD I am going to expect SCT traders to post blotters showing they did at least as well as SCT-Lite, currently at over $450 per contract. If not, I will cheerfully sell them the system.

I hope Neoxx is following this, because I am pretty sure that with some effort I could code this pissant little chart up to run on a smartphone.

Simplicity in all things:

the least complex trading computer you can get by with

the least complicated charting that does the job

the most time honored method to achieve mellowness (haha!)

no wannabe gurus advising you

AND NO ET!

I agree with these principles... I save the mellowness for after-market though :)

Quote from Socrates:

Here's mine. Sorry, had to blur it to obscure the content. But you get a sense of the complexity.
... and here's mine.

KISSing is my favorite pastime. :p

P.S. Like I told one of spydertrader's (multiple) aliases. SCT is 10x to complicated, over-optimized and frankly, just a trip down Jack's Rabbit Hole.
