France's new Socialist president owns three holiday homes in the Riviera resort of Cannes, it emerged today.

Francois Hollande, 57, who “dislikes the rich” and wants to revolutionise his country with high taxes and an onslaught against bankers, is in fact hugely wealthy himself.

His assets were published today in the Official Journal, the gazette which contains verified information about France’s government.

It is valued by the Official Journal at 800,000 euros (£642,000), and is just a short drive from Hollande’s two flats close to the promenade in Cannes. They are priced at 230,000 euros (£185,000) and 140,000 euros (£112,000 )

A spokesman for the former Massachusetts governor says Romney and his wife, Ann, have put their 9,500-square-foot Deer Valley, Utah ski lodge on the market for $5.25 million, and are also selling the suburban Boston home where they raised their five sons. The 6,400-square-foot

Colonial on 2.5 acres in Belmont is expected to fetch about $3 million.

Spokesman Eric Fehrnstrom said the Romneys are "downsizing and simplifying."

The Romneys still own a $10 million home on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, N.H. and a $12 million beachfront compound in La Jolla, Calif.

Fehrnstrom said the couple intends to buy a condominium in the Boston area.

He's no different from the Liberal hypocrites in the US.

They want all the people to be "equal"... equal to upper poor class.... while the elites get the best and most of everything money can buy.

You see, they view the citizenry as working to support them... we're just too naive/dumb/blind to recognize it an to protest.

Ya know, I don't think this has much standing, we got Buffett, lives in a tar paper shack in Omaha, and ideally should be Obama's "Putz Czar".
 
I would like to know how Hollande got his money. He must have inherited it from his capitalist father. It's OK to be a socialist so long as you already have your wealth.
