Zen, let me apologize for attacking your sensibilities. Allow me to rephrase the point: Which one of those "top ten places to live" on the list would you agree are actually SOCIALIST as described in the thread's title ?

Is this a joke? I don't believe that you even understand what socialism is, lol. Most of the places you list are the most capitalistic places on the planet, lol. Here is a ranking of the top capitalistic countries on the planet:

The USA is currently in 9th place. Out of 180+ countries on the planet,

Switzerland is ranked 5th and they have 3 cities on your list, lol.

New Zealand is ranked 4th most capitalist country on the planet, lol.

Germany/Austria are the lowest ranking on your list and they are 23rd/21st.

Canada is ranked 6th most capitalistic country on the planet.

Denmark is ranked 8th most Capitalistic country on the planet.

So basically, almost your entire list are in countries which are objectively ranked as more capitalist than the USA.

As a comparison, let's look at the actua socialist countries. The top 10 socialist countries are:

1) North Korea
2) Zimbabwe
3) Cuba
4) Eritrea
5) Venezuela
6) Burma
7) Libya
8) "Democratic" Republic of Congo
9) Iran
10) Timor-Lise

Those are your socialist meccas.

Most of the stuff I'll post on here are for shitz and giggles with the occasional fishing expedition. Since the general public (and ET'ers?) consider all of Europe to be a gang of socialistic atheists, why not run with the title and see what happens. I'm surprised Oslo wasn't in the top 10.

Socialism == Preventing race to the bottom.
Capitalism == Promoting race to the top.

Globalization is zero sum.
Capitalism is NOT zero sum.
