How's about these pricks start investing in America. You know, the place where they made their money in the first place. These phony patriots won't be doing that anytime soon. All the investment is going overseas, and the Chinese are smart. They tell CAT and the like, you want to sell here, you got to build here. Well no shit, damn good idea. We need to be doing the same thing here.
There has never been a more pristine example of blaming the victim as the working class gets told they make too much, have too many benefits, all the while the corporate thugs proceed with the wholesale destruction of our country.

I agree, capitalism is not the problem. The problem is that we no longer practice capitalism. I don't know exactly what to call privatized profits and socialized losses, but that's what we have, and that ain't capitalism. I also agree that government is the problem when they not only allow, but facilitate such action as stated above.

Not to mention that the bubble wouldn't have been possible without the eager participation of the sheeple who bought more house than they could afford, used their houses as ATMs and maxed out their credit cards to buy shit they didn't need with money they didn't have. Of course the evil banksters should have protected the borrowers from themselves because nobody's responsible for their actions any more.

You are not wrong, but there are other factors at play other than corporate villany. While there are plenty of people suffering because of our trade policies, there are more that are benefitting through low prices. Most consumer goods, other than cars, cost less than they did 30 years ago. Cars are expensive largely because of government mandates.

There is a far bigger factor at play that is not discussed. Henry Kissinger decided 40 years ago that the best way to deal with the Chinese was to coopt them into our economic system. Global and in particular US ruling elites have quietly maintained that policy throughout democrat and republican administrations. The alternative was thought to be a China that would resemble North Korea, only on a mammouth scale.
