Trump’s Presidency May Decide the Fate of Socialism in America Greg Jones, The American Spectator
Last week, the Washington Post ran an opinion piece by Elizabeth Bruenig entitled “It’s time to give socialism a try.” While such an outlandish idea isn’t necessarily out of place on the Opinion page of the Post (or even in the thick of its news for that matter), Bruenig’s casual suggestion that we simply upend the very foundation of America is indicative of socialism’s increasing normalization among millennials and disenchanted baby boomers.

The only thing weaker then Bruenig's writing is her logic.

Besides, Hillary and the DNC screwed Bernie, man. Peace, out.

It still amazes me that many adult men in the US still don't grasp that European countries work very well. They always pick the handful of extremes.

The US was a new continent with massive natural resources and a fairly optimal climate where malaria and other things were manageable.

Advanced western European democratic/capitalistic socialism is what is going to happen as it is the natural progression from when boundless wealth starts to dry up and you don't want a civil war.

Get a passport guys. Spend a year of your life somewhere also great.

In the U.S. most people are brainwashed to think the U.S. is the greatest country on the planet, the only free country, etc. etc. People think that if the people were more empowered at the expense of the multi-national corporations we would end up like N. Korea. The U.S. scores high on GDP but fails miserably in other important metrics some not shown below like child poverty, many that we once scored highly on after the industrial revolution (post WW2).
