The worst thing about SS is the racism, how it robs minorities of hard earned wealth that could break generational poverty
If they were able to keep SS and pass it down to their children it might change the trajectory of poverty
Since their lifespan is less then whites and Asians, The money they are forced to give to SS ends up supporting wealthy whites/Asians in retirement
Additionally because of the low marriage rates in the Black community there is not a spouse who will collect the money
A lifetime of contributions (min 200k) gets taken by the Government at death
Just think what 200k could do for a family trying to break out of poverty
There are only 4.5 million blacks over 65..maybe half would need this
Just give them the money
