This reminds me of SAC. I knew a couple of people inside (who were there from the start, in the early 90s). And I also knew an outside manager, who had an allocation directly from Cohen, and kept in touch with him. According to him: "Dude, it was like having tomorrow's headlines TODAY, amazing".
