Well, I'd be pissed too. You spend top dollar for an oceanfront piece of property... and they put up a bunch of ugly f'n windmills out there.... I'd be livid af. I know what you're gonna say ON before you even say it. That the ocean belongs to everybody.... well whatever. Everybody didn't pay for that view and it wasn't disclosed in the purchase contract that they could put those f'rs up out there. And yes.... that matters.

Way back when, I built a place on like an isthmus of a large lake... so I designed and built the house with 270 degree views basically, but the one side was a narrow channel with woods on the other shore. It was beautiful, I mean it was nature ya know.... AND.... you couldn't put a house on that land because they didn't allow septics, (mine had a sewer tap)... so I built knowing that beautiful view to the right would always be woods. Well guess what... they came in and put up a f'ing cell-phone tower right there. No more woods. Just a big nasty f'n tower. Gravel, chain-link fence... some kind of Caterpillar generator building... to this day I'm still pissed. I sold it. It ruined everything. That whole side of the house. F that. Burn coal. No windmills in my ocean view.

Well, I was trying to think of a funny way to address the "Ta..." comment, because I always thought of it being "ta ta". But in thinking about it further, I realized that "Ta" is also a valid way to say "adios." So for some reason I started thinking about chemistry. Then came the Tantallum thingy, and, well. So there it is. My brain laid naked "mostly" for you to analyze. (Just don't poke it too much, it has enough holes.)

That is the thing about you Vanz that I like. You like the idea of clean energy. But if for some reason you do not like that clean energy, because it blocks your view or does whatever, you are willing to go back to the old reliable fossil fuels. You are not locking yourself into a "It must be alternatives or nothing".

You are willing to try the new shit, and if you do not like it, you revert to the old shit. I can dig it. Very reasonable.

there are cheaper safer nuclear technologies out there than Uranium though.... but in any case for the coming decades there will be no shortage of fossil fuels, all is good... another reason to be bullish.

We got a giant fusion reactor up there, we extract its energy by using "alternatives". We can't extract nuclear energy directly anyway, we gotta boil some thing to spin something to make electric.

Gates was about to hit a milestone w/traveling wave reactors, and guess what, he needed the Chinese cooperation to make it happen. Guess what moron in Washington put a stop to that?
