So what will send this rally over the cliff?

throughout every bull market you have people trying to call the top. Strange querk of human nature I guess.

The funny thing is they can be wrong 99 times and the one they are right....they act like they correctly timed the top...

Same every time

I don't buy that for a second because all of those major players don't work in a concerted effort. They would very much like to rip each others throats out if at all possible.

Really? Don't be so naive.

Childish. If it benefits both sides then they most definitely will work together.
It's a show for the peasants that "there's real fighting going on in the higher echelons".

Dating back to 1993, this gain of over 9% on the S&P over the last 23 days is in the top 3% of all moves. Given the current non-volatile market condition, this is even more absurd. I don't think this has to be a top - but I think it is somewhat normal to expect a couple of down days of 1% or 2% if it is going to move to the upside this violently.

Japan

Don't even look what happens here

Japan must implode before anything happens here

Nikkei will be at all time highs before it happens
And it happens this year

I tend to agree with this

We could have a spike today then go down.

Up to now, it seems you got it right.
Nice to see how Bernanke speaks: first he says he's ready to increase or decrease QE,then he says that reducing monetary easing could hurt economy recovery.
do you think reducing QE is an option?
He said nothing and market flew up. the only "news" was housing data worse than expected.
