So we are actually going to be stuck with Hillary, unbelievable

Dubya didn't disappoint in that regard. He left the country and its foreign relations in far worse shape than when he took office.
Dubya was left with a bag a shit from the 90's. A stock market bubble which blew as he was coming in, and the continuation of a real estate scam as he was going out, all of it resulting from the bullshit of the 90's. He also got to deal with terrorism which had been largely ignored through the 90's. We know what happened. He dealt with that poorly which we all know.
Obama walked into a mess for sure, did nothing to prosecute the thieves who destroyed the economy of the entire fucking world, turns a blind eye as the same thieves have run the market up again, all for themselves while average Joe shows little to no gains. Mr. Nobel Peace prize didn't exactly bring an end to all the killing, here or abroad. The American people have endured decades of failure in all areas of government and the real economy. The real economy, not the market. the market is not, does not and will not reflect the actual economy. That disconnect happened years ago.
Hillary promises more of the same and Trump won't be able to change a f'n thing. Why? Congress, that's why. The same criminals will be in place. You really think everyone is going to play nice after this election. They'll dig in deeper than ever. The overall situation gets worse, not better, and it won't ever get better so long as we keep sending the same criminals to office year after year.

Take comfort in the memory that it was going to be the end of the world when Obama got elected, and reelected.

He's still has a couple of months. Things in Syria look interesting.
In any event, no matter who succeeds him they will have full plate dealing with NK, China and Russia. We are closer to a nuclear war now than when he was first elected.

And Ricter, before you ask, here is the link :)

What should he have done differently? Please explain, keeping in mind the following highlights from your own link:

The Iran nuclear agreement and the Paris climate accord...constitute only small bright spots in a darker world situation full of potential for catastrophe.

(Meanwhile, Trump thinks the Iran nuclear agreement was a "disaster," and believes that climate change was "invented" by China.)

The maintenance of peace requires that nuclear rhetoric and actions be tamped down.

(Meanwhile, Trump likes to talk about nuclear responses and thinks everyone should have nuclear weapons.)

And so on and so forth...

The media is biased. The GOP establishment is self serving. Can't believe you give them so much credit for their opinion! Trump a clown? "They" put him down because they are either threatened by him or they make a classic mistake in judgement..."judging a book by it's cover"! CONTENT is so much more important than FORM. So many of you lefties are TURNED OFF by his outward BRAVADO, that you can't see his true value! So many of you would be terrible at INTERROGATION, the ability to have insight into the true motives of individuals and the ability to extract accurate information!

The people in the media are smart and know what's going on. So it just seems like a liberal bias but in fact is just facts. The GOP establishment are the smart ones. That's how they got there. They are smart, so of course they know that Trump is a yuge joke and an ignorant classless douchebag used car salesman shyster. They know that he would be a disaster for the country.
