Sorry, let my emotions get the best of me. Being discretionary in a highly leveraged position was tougher to handle mentally than I anticipated.

Unfortunately you have yourself to blame for not doing your homework on 3 fronts...

1. No stop
2. Unaware of economic calendar
3. Unaware of how big moves can be following news.

Also, it didn't move 65 CENTS.

Just be glad that you didn't have more money at risk. Trading a demo account would be of huge benefit so that you can acclimate to the price action without having to risk real $$$.

Just scale it back and try to proceed with extreme caution!!

Yep totally my fault, now I have that calender on lockdown if/when I start back up. Lesson learned.

Correct, was distracted when posting and thinking of other pairs.

Also, look at today's open. Big moves. Not much news. So it can happen at ANY time!
