Why not?? If you don't like having your voting life made more difficult don't be a socioeconomic minority!
A poll tax is very different than requiring a picture id to vote. A picture id in the U.S. basically required for every other interaction you do in the U.S. - extending it to voting only makes sense.
Yes... we have posted the many local news articles many times --- but you have ignored them. Go read the past ET posts on Voter Id.
But at the time poll taxes didn't seem like an unfair burden, the wealthy had no trouble paying them.
Poll taxes were not about paying the tax.... we all know better than this.
