suffer??? from trade with other countries?? Usually when you buy something another country produces it's to your advantage to do so. Otherwise, why would you do it??? You may not have realized that.
The ability to buy things from other countries comes from your being able to sell things to other countries. If you don't sell anything that any other country wants you won't be able to buy much that these other countries produce. In that case you'll just have to make whatever it is you want or do without. I suppose you prefer the latter. That would be the only way your thinking could make any sense.
Most of us are aware that our U.S. President is a demagogue Jackass and wants you to think that other countries are taking advantage of us. No one is forcing you to believe this Jackass. You're doing that all on your own. Why would anyone in their right mind believe a Jackass who lies every time their lips move?? That makes no sense at all.
