Israel doesn't have a worry about Iran and their nukes, it's about the Saudis. The Iranian kooks hate the Saudi kooks much more. The upshot of Iran being a nuclear power is likely lower oil prices and more Western meddling in the ME since the Saudis will need even more help from the West... it's no mistake that nobody has stopped the Iranians from developing their "peaceful nuclear ambitions"... Cartels never last and OPEC is no exception...
 
Lets face it, there was peace (by today's standards) in the Middle East BEFORE Israel came in to be following WWII.

Yes Islam has a terrible track record if we look in the history books of trying to 'Moslemise' the world, but Christians also have the crusades to answer for if anyone thinks events hundreds of years ago have any standing in today's modern world.

Reading up on the events of Lawrence of Arabia and how the west - especially the French let the Arabs down so badly will give us some ideas as to modern day frictions.

However, make no mistake, Israel is the aggressor.

Why should we let Israel develop the bomb, but not Iran?

BOTH have appalling track records.
