So I'm Drinking Remy Martin Black Pearl w/this Dutch Supermodel...

Does he post on ET? :)

I think most people would rather be rich than classy. You can't buy good taste, just absolutely everything else..

BLSH - are you going to tell us where this bar is? Or, would we already know if we could afford it? ;)

In answer to your question(maybe) , naw, he wasn't a trader-he was a gem trader, (opals, etc) and a damn good one.

So in essence, he was a trader of sorts, just in biz, face to face, all the time, instead of phone calls.
Worked about 16 hours a day, if I recall, worth a packet-wonder if he ever knew how to invest successfully though.

He could be worth $1.50 now, depends how smart he was, innit.

...BTW.... who determines the difference between a model and a supermodel, and just what is that diff??
Supermodels are weightless. They can fly.

Quote from acronym:

Met a guy, bit of a try hard look, but he wasnt; used to throw his solid gold (ie, heavy bling) custom made porsche keyring on the table, to sort of "announce" his presence, worked a charm.
I know for a fact, (confirmed source) his car once broke down on a bridge, so he gave the first person who pulled over to help the keys, signed the ownership slip, got a cab home and bought a new one.

He never dated woman for more than six months, for legal reasons....loaded.

I don't know if that's "classy", but...it worked for him.

But he was also a great entertainer/racontuer, so maybe the bling wasnt the thing, but he had "it", and "it" is a vast personal fortune.

I honestly know someone who comes somewhat close to approaching this level of eccentricity - or did, when he had money - well, not his money, but a lot of investors' money (OPM).

He's broke now after living like Howard Hughes for about 7 years (thanks to OPM), weighs close to 280lbs, and is leaving the good ole' U.S.A. and heading back to Sardinia, probably to be a legend back in his village, if some of the Sardinians he's ripped off don't murder him in his sleep.

It's not the size of the fish, but the pond?

Let me go home
I’ve had my run
Baby, I’m done
I gotta go home
Let me go home
It will all be all right
I’ll be home tonight
I’m coming back home
