So I profited 820 dollars on a deep ITM options spread and received this email from Tastytrade

Anyone who thinks that TT should be auto-liquidating is likely the same person who will complain about IB's aut-liqudating bot which ensures you get the worst fills at the worst time imaginable.
Anyone who thinks that TT should be preventing the trade is likely the same person who will complain about brokers not letting traders trade.

I think you've covered the lot. Basically, it comes down to ""waaah, baby WANT!" from those who are used to getting their way by yelling and crying. Oddly, that doesn't work too well in professional environments...

What's that old cliche "I can explain it for you, but I can't understand it for you..."

IB's Auto-Liquidate bot is a sight to behold. That MotherF will blast through your account and close your sh*t like a demon. Found that out the hard way... :D

Correct.

Anyone who thinks that TT should be auto-liquidating is likely the same person who will complain about IB's aut-liqudating bot which ensures you get the worst fills at the worst time imaginable.
.

If anyone is interested, I will break this down into specific detail for those who are not completely understanding it. Sometimes, when people see details, they get it. 5 likes by
midnight Eastern time tonight and I'll get to work on it to prevent others from possibly
making a huge mistake.
What breakdown, you mean your breakdown.....?

The specific numbers involved. The specific scenarios that can occur. My breakdown? Now that is another story. :D

What is there to break down? It's pointless.

Nobody knows what his mkt-order fill will be. He can avoid it by trading the NDX OTM diagonal in calls. There. Broken down. Do you think adding fictional figures to this conversation will be an improvement? Have you been on an island?
