There's no god and most likely there's no beginning of the universe. It is probable that the universe has always existed. God is nothing more than a boogeyman tale catered to adults instead of children.

"fine tuning" is an absurd argument put forth by very small minded people.
Yes it's true the universe is finely tuned for life as it exists on earth today. If any of the forces in our current universe were to change, even a trillionth of a fraction, life as we know it would not exist.

How the #$%# do you know that by changing the properties by a trillionth of a fraction, we wouldn't exist but it would allow an entirely new kind of life in other parts of the universe to exist? Or maybe no life would exist, or maybe by changing it ever so slightly, a billion planets would be sustaining life. Maybe they wouldn't breath oxygen. Maybe they'd breath helium and be 100 feet tall with 6 arms, 17 hearts, and 5 brains.
Small minded people make me laugh. After all we know about the vastness of the universe and how incredibly insignificant humans are, puny minded religious people STILL think it's all about us. Who cares if we would or wouldn't exist if the universe changed? The universe doesn't care about us.

perhaps, but one side needs a God to justify their political system, and the other side needs NO GOD to justify their humanism. It has very little to do with science.
but if you don't care about politics, many new scientists are embracing the idea of a God Force. Maybe because it is easy and explains the unknown, or maybe it's just common sense.
But if you drop down to the common trash of humanity, it becomes a huge debate, because one side needs a God and the other side desperately needs NO GOD.
I beg to differ on the one side desperately needing no god. I believe it's the other way around.
As for the god force...I've looked into that. Actually, let me put it another way. I studied some of the metaphysical and spiritual teachings of ancient cultures and was intrigued by it. Their idea of a higher power is much different than mainstream religion. I can get with the idea of there being a higher power but this "god" stuff is foolishness. Unfortunately, a lot of religious people don't know the difference between a higher power and their idea of god. They think that the two are synonymous.
well then see, we have something to talk about, you must admit that when the University acknowledged that there may be a God, the right wing was more open to funding.
otherwise, it aint that important to us, we have our own belief and aren't trying to control the world

No, we need a less ignorant society. Along with that comes less belief in Yahweh. The belief is not the problem. It is the required ignorance for it that is.
fair enough, now we are getting somewhere, to you, and correct me if I am wrong, belief in God and ignorance are one and the same, and you need to eliminate it to progress. Right?
