Kenmore still works well. Plenty of them do.
Actually, Whirlpool did work well also;
except DO NOT cut it off just because you maybe gone for 30 days. LOL Good way to goof it up.
Kenmore freezer, manuel defrost is designed to be cut off briefly but i dont think any others are.
GE models i have looked @ look like they were designed by a co with a stock price of $6.66.
Best flashlights i ever owned are made by Chicoms, so any inferior models must be the customer specs, generally speaking

ONE link here noted most of the problems are with the icemaker;
+ one of the better repair records, that brand had few icemakers/LOL
I have a back up ''ice box'' Coleman cooler/cool.
