Nope the force is strong with the shorts today. Combined with the choppy conditions I don't feel inclined to trade any further. ~-400 today, half from the gold position.

Well obviously that didn't work. -120. If it doesn't turn by tomorrow then I am solid bear about the situation, subject to external changes. Exclusively going to do reactive intraday trading in that case.
While clear downtrend, this one is not super straightforward to trade as an entry needs to be done after a mean reversal to avoid large MAE=risk. Waiting for reaction to data now though.

Closed for small profit compensating the loss from news on previous start. GF haunting me to join her...
Made small short trade in NQ gaining 70 USD now. Had to exit because 1) dinner, 2) fading a rumor of Trump being invited to China believed to be fake.
I would say this day illustrated the same issue as in May though: I completely miss the overall day tend because I don't mix in any longer term positions contrary to the reversal trades I am naturally inclined to do.
