Classic case of "let your winners run". Max profit would have been somewhere around ~4000 in total on this algo today. I get scraps because I'm nervous.

Trying to stay awake for HK market open and China data in half an hour, Chinese industrial output might be fun.
That's a smart play, as these moves are disingenuous and fairly rare.
Marginal move but not of the very productive sort. -30 on first algo activation and +20 after second one.
Newly added position sizing calculations seem off for HKD so I need to backtest algo on some recent HK33HKD data and fix it.
Well, this algo is mostly about scoring a few big ones so I am cutting a lot of my profit potential by taking it early. I should basically have thought harder about the news driving the move - when it's being interpreted as a potential game changer like today I should be holding exit button a little less tight.
Euro session seems to be heating up lately so I should probably switch from attempting staying up for Asian start to getting up my own time instead.
Behavior at start of NQ session has been non-ideal (mean reversion dominating trend) so won't trade today. I don't have any conviction on where this session is ending either other than a coin toss.

Started long algo on NQ here, quite comfortable leaving on for 1-2 h, because of potential RR.
Closed here for +75, realized I have a long delayed Windows update scheduled this night... Would be better off sleeping for tomorrow.

Btw did two algo activations amounting to -150 yesterday evening that I forgot to write about. Found that my auto trend bias logic tends to make poor choices if it doesn't trigger within a minute or so (usually at which time the 5s bar graph looks quite different), so I might experiment putting a time cap on it or changing something else in it to address this.
Some late night thinking now: I realized that I tend to make my manual exits in a rather poor manner (usually too early), so I would be better served fully automating exits too. That's a large amount of work though. And at this point, I really need to go ahead and implement some own logging so that I can analyze trades better (also posting them here or even in real time on Twitter).
