yes... more sun and warmer.
the jet stream off the ocean did not sink down much last year.
its also why it was also dry.

San Diego may be well positioned for global cooling.

Ha ha ha. "Solar vortex"? The idiot author doesn't even know the terminology. Hey Breitbart fool. It's "POLAR vortex" and it's an expected result of global warming.

The phenomenon is blamed on a solar vortex, forcing cold temperatures down the eastern seaboard and into the South East of the country. Similar effects are being seen in Russia, parts of China and across central Asia including Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Uzbekistan and down into Afghanistan. Most of Europe, conversely, is seeing markedly higher temperatures, as is Alaska.
 
yeah right... the models which have failed so miserably at predicting no global warming in the land air temperature for the last 18 years.... actually predicted a polar vortex which freezes parts of america early... is really global warming.

If you really believed that crap you would cease selling greenhouse gases 2000 times more powerful and co2 for a living.

The models did OK and in addition the earth has not slowed warming at all.
