Snow because of global warming!

Quote from Tresor:

Hahaha, then you must have missed the charts with larger data sets. You must have also missed Carter discuss trends in temperature.

You cherry picked!

No, I just didn't refer to paleoclimate reconstructions, but as you asked about it, I will.

Carter was again cherry picking his data (in this case just one study). The NOAA Paleoclimatology Reconstructions Network lists "92 high-resolution temperature records over the past 2+ millennia"

http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/paleo/pubs/pcn/

So Carter has picked just one of ninety two studies, claiming it be the truth.

The truth is that the most widely held scientific view is that the MWP was not a warm as current climate. Carter is disingenuous to claim otherwise. That view may or may not change in the future, but that is the fact of the matter today.

The IPCC report summarized the current view:

Okay, I'm impressed -- you were able to find what the heck he was discussing.

Tresor will laugh hysterically as he rides his Kamikaze argument into the ocean.

I'm curious, can you show us where in Al Gore's movie where there were computer models of snow storms?

Hahaha, this reminded me of Bigdave once having posted temperature hockey stick graph. When I got to the core of his source I asked a few questions that he failed to answer. I am attaching those questions as 2 screenshots.

I don't remember having seen these, but I'll certainly be happy to answer your points with:

Local temperature variations are not relevant, as the discussion is regarding a global climate issue.

I haven't seen the film.

But you would agree that they should be in the film since "extreme weather" is the cause of global warming?
