SniperDaytrader´s journal

I'm afraid I don't understand what someone watching over your shoulder is supposed to watch. Or say about what they've seen. And if you don't want to change your approach, why bother watching at all, much less commenting.

As for me, I've got five journals posted. But I doubt they'd be of any interest.

By the way, Mark (wrb) is an experienced and profitable trader. I wouldn't be too quick to blow him off, given the amount of time you've spent on this.

It likely just means, it keeps him honest, ie not lying to himself about his performance to have it visible to other traders, I think!

I do the same, works for me!!

Yet, you came here for the "need someone to watch over my shoulder". What the heck does that mean because at first glance...it almost seem like you're saying that we have some kind'uv ability to keep you focus on what you're trying to do even though we don't know what you're trying to do.

Yes it is exactly like that. The more people watch me, the more responsible I feel about my trades. It doesn´t have to make sense to you as long as it makes sense to me.

Unfortunately, if other traders haven't the least idea what the journalist is doing, making the trades visible doesn't accomplish much.

But whatever makes the journalist happy.:)

Do you mean like, using the errrr Journal as a errrr Journal LOL

It's not rocket science!

I don't listen to anyone really in my journal either, why I labelled it " need someone to think out loud ", we all have our own coping methods.

So the only reason to keep journal is to have others tell you how to change your strategy?

I still don't get it. I don't know why do you persuade me so hard I need to change something? Why don't you do it like Turveyd wrote - sit back and enjoy the show.

Maybe I will start earning some real money, or maybe I will burn trough my account in 1/2 year and then you can write me: 'I told you, you arrogant POS....'

But until then I will trade the way I LIKE and post my trades with results. Full disclosure.

Cheers

Doesn't make a lot of sense, as your profitable most days, mainly you know how to hold and let them run, writing off several losers all in 1 hit, which is cool :)

99% and likely the guru's trying to help you are doing way worse than you.

The reason for keeping a public journal is generally to seek comments, opinions, suggestions. Otherwise, what's the point?

As to persuading you to change something, I have not done so as I don't understand what you're doing. Therefore, there's nothing to enjoy.

But, as I said, if this meets your needs, great. Best of luck to you.

Sniper, I am sorry I jumped on this thread because it sounded like you were frustrated with your trading style. Did not know you were using this as a Trading Journal, my bad and please forgive me. My input was not welcome and usually I do avoid speaking on some Forums about this subject because people get pissed off when we give stock ideas without providing them, the entry point, allowable range of chop and the exit-point and if they lose money, we hear them bash us forever!
