Quote from olias:
it's one of the world's great mysteries that these scams still proliferate.
1. People are gullible
2. Their minds get altered when 'easy money' for 'little work' is on offer
3. These scammers are all selling the dream, and they're skillful at it, ie telling you want you want to hear and offering you a way to get it (of course it won't work)
4. Again, people are gullible so they won't bother to research who they're doing business with or what they're really buying
5. People are greedy
6. People are too trustfull and in this day and age that's lethal.
The question I always ask is this - who's at fault here, the lying vendor or the gullible buyer?
I used to think it was the snakeoil saleman but he nver puts a gun to anyone's head does he?
The buyers therefore get what they deserve, harsh but true.
I bet the majority of this board have bought crap in the past, maybe it was only a $30 book but most of us have fallen for it in the past, usually our younger days.
But like a trade that went wrong and taught us a lesson it was a good thing to get ripped off but only if we learned that important lesson, ie steer clear of snakeoil salesmen telling us how to get rich easy and quick.
