I'm from Hollywood. Attended Hollywood Highschool (Sunset & Highland). I still have some old friends there in the business and the word is that Smollett is virtually unemployable in Hollywood as things stand at the moment. I suppose that could change *when* he is acquitted by a Chicago jury.

My friends aren't bigtime just sound guys. They tried to hire me but I couldn't get on direct/union because I'm not a proper biker. Bikers run sound and lights in Hollywood. I did work some contract gigs and contributed to the track for Muppet Babies which got an Emmy for sound. All my work was on Apple sound gear and mastered on 1/2 inch tape lol. Most of the editing work was late at night in Studio City and we captured voice tracks on the weekends. I have some of the gnarliest looking friends you have ever seen lol.

You wouldn't believe who I've met. A lot of well known people did voice tracks for animation on the weekends for scale back then. Most of the voice in animation is someone you would recognize.

You would think that after Smollet and Sandman people would either choose not to comment rather than believe that social media has convinced us we all need to know your logorrhea thoughts.. or simply if forced to comment say something like "I do not have all the facts so do not want to comment prematurely until the full story is known....

Case in point... Lebron asked security to remove 2 fans from an Indiana Pacers game and everyone lost their shit on Lebron calling him a baby and he cannot handle the boos. Within a day or two people came forward sitting in that section saying those fans were yelling that LBJs son should die in a car crash and other similar things. Those fans should have been kicked in the nuts and then asked to leave and lose their season ticket priviledges.

Everyone who jumps on social media quickly will have their fucktarded wrong comments permanently there for all to see.... people need to pause and realize we dont give a fuck what you think or at least wait until you have all the facts before commenting.
