Rahm is on his way out and trying to maintain some shred of credibility as he plans his next move in politics or the ever lucrative media commentary career. It's really difficult to deny what is such an obvious shady deal and walk away expecting anyone to listen to you ever again.

I think this is more a case of the rich people who run the party selecting a minority female to front for them and imaging they could control her. Once in power, she went tribal immediately. Emmanuel better watch his step. Few pols in Chicago don't have some dirt in the corner.
