Some say China is slow walking to run down the clock. Xi is dictator for life. Trump is subject to re-election in 12 months. A wallstreet friendly admin in DC could reverse many of trumps half measures or perhaps altogether. He needed to get serious about the issue year 1. Not to belabour the obvious.... The whole point of running these massive trillion dollar deficits was to give America the economic steam to absorb a major lose lose trade war with China. Where America is the big dog and china could not objectively tolerate the pain and would be brought to heel at the negotiation table. Decisiviely, trump has not done this. His approach is far too weak. I hope ur right and we see 50 percent tariffs across the board. The time to do that was 3 years ago. Further America must pass US GAAP laws for Chinese firms listed on US exchanges. China's economy and major corps operate in total fraud and would fail instantly. Much to be done.

This is national security now and American hegemony. Fck wallstreet. Those pricks are disloyal scumbags most of em. They sold out this country decades ago for 30 shekels.
