Smells Like Winning

If you want to see real whining check out Trumps Twitter page.He whines more than any leftist even though he supposedly won.

As much as I do not like him, he did win according to current rules. Granted had it not been for Comey reopening email shit and Cambridge analytica, he would have lost. But a win is a win.

It will be corrected in less than a year.

Soliciting and getting help from foreign governments isn't allowed according to the rules. He knows that helped him win The EC more than anything which is why he was trying to force another foreign government/Turkey help him win again in 2020

All those who beaming from Trump victory, he carried 3 states with 78K votes. In a country of 330 mil, it is a rounding error (not diminishing any voters, pure math). We all saw midterms. 2020 should be even bigger win for Dems.

So? He's still the President. You folks need to stop worrying about who had more shots on goal and focus on who scored more goals.

He can win by 1 point or 50. It is still a win. And what does it say that Hillary - the self appointed Queen and savior of the Democratic party - couldn't beat a blowhard like Trump?

Totally agree, a win is a win. Sometimes things with little odds work out. Like Trump win, 2016 had even more incredible (from odds perspective win) leicester city (odds were like 5000 to 1).

Honestly, I'd love if the Democrats would get down to seriously finding a candidate that could focus on moderate, bringing people together to solve issues, non-socialist looney platform. I would love to not have to cast another "against" ballot and vote "for" for a change. Haven't done that since 2008 when I voted for Obama.

You have a point, but I think the bigger point is that we are not in a good place as a country when statistically insignificant vote margins result in tectonic shifts in policy. Traditionally we had the opposite, ie broad agreement between the parties on at least the fundamental principles of policy and clear cut election outcomes, for the most part.

The current situation presents all sorts of incentives for bad behavior, as each side fervently believes the other is borderline insane and dangerous.

A socialist being elected in 2020 won't be by a statistically insignificant margin.

And that could very well end our country. No one interested in common sense anymore. One example, right extreme “no abortion even if women is raped”, left extreme “abortion till the day baby is born”.

And such thinking exists in almost any area.
