SMB is the best

I've mixed feelings on SMB. Bella seems like a trader who has real skills and is genuinely motivated to help. But, they don't seem to offer a lot of proprietary or really value-added content via their blog. I have not personally tried their trade ideas. But, they don't see to offer any/many proprietary edges via their blog.

I tried to strike up a friendship with Bella because I knew Dr. Steenbarger well and consider myself among the best in calling the market. He didn't seem very interested -- perhaps because much of my trading has been hypothetical.

I feel that too many people are looking for others for help. I mean that is what this thread is about. It is about looking/hoping someone else show you the path, fund you, etc.

This is not very constructive because the world is a fool. It is better not to depend on anyone else or look to anyone else. But, to build your own abilities. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I feel the frustration that some are voicing. However, I think this the root problem is deeper.

I mean the root problem is that too many of us are looking for others to help us or looking to criticize instead of working on our own game plans, getting money, and trading. I feel refocusing on that will be more productive..

Our best AM Idea for today, which we highlighted in our AM Meeting is to get long INVE as close to 4.20 as possible with a target of INVE making new highs.

omg, this cant be happening. first of all , they probably meant 5.20, with the stock closing at 5.80 Tues.

Stocks 4.11 at 12.30 pm. Down 1.60 . New highs? Fuggin imbeciles.

INVE closed at 3.63 down a zillion percent.

This is the stock they asked you to watch make new highs.

Sort of like the QIHU play.


Doesnt get any worse than this, even the slobs here at ET arent that bad.

It was a great call if you are fast and can execute. Hit 4.25 and jumped. CHOP. If you can't trade them, get your own ideas.
 
gptrader, how about posting a chart where you would have got long INVE on April 13? I don't see an entry for getting long. SMB's best idea for April 13 was a disaster. I think stock777 is saving a lot inexperienced traders from losing money by tracking how stupid SMB's best ideas are, both from stopping noobs from acting on SMB's best ideas and from paying up for SMB training. Think of him as a consumer watchdog for prop firms.

Not to mention you can't read. They talked about NEW HIGHS. They must have meant 5.20 as the buy, as how the hell could the stock make new highs off a 4.20 level (down large).

I'm not going to post any more about these turkeys. I waste too much time here and elsewhere playing to an audience (with a few exceptions, like Roark ) of ingrates. At these prices, I'm not being compensated.

Not sure how to post a chart, but INVE worked like a charm FOR A SCALPING TRADE. Broke down to 4.25, then zoomed to 4.6. All I did was set a limit buy at 4.28, and a stop at 4.18. Out in the mid 4.50's when the sellers came back. It was scary to see it come in to my buy level so fast, but that's trading, buying a lower level minimizes risk.

The real question is who will see the next move when the stock rests and gets ready for a more controlled move?
