Scientist even can have differing opinion because not everything is absolute fact.....just statistical significance..
On the whole, vaccines do work.
They get a bad rap from a toxicological viewpoint. But they are also maligned because of the way that flu vaccines are handled.
If you get a flu shot, and I do, you are being vaccinated for *last years* influenza so its almost never the right one for the current flu season. I get a flu shot then just get the current flu-of-the-season anyway.
I only get the shot to shut my doctor up who can be kind of a little bitch. I know it isn't going to do jack but the yammering is worse.
I've been told, repeatedly, that engineers are the second worse type of patients. When I sense they are bullshitting me I start drilling in with abrupt questions that become more mildly menacing as I get older.
Don't blow me off by telling me its complicated. I can do complicated. Fucking doctors.
