small lots with ib

I wonder how he does. Since commissions at ET are about $10, the stock has to go 2 points before he can even break even.

No no no. Trading with IB, not ET. With ET I guess you mean
E*Trade? IB is only $1 for 10, 20, 50, up to 100 shares for Naz. I
remember once trading with E*Trade years ago for $19.95 each
way. Talk about a rip off! Ugh... :)

Yes, it was you Eldredge I was referring to. Suprised to see you
find this post.

So how did August treat you? I remember you did pretty well in July...

I don't believe this will work for any option/margin type orders

That would be a new one: Buy me one twentieth of a QQQ Sep02 21 Put at the market!

FYI:
From IB site:

"Odd lot orders supported on NYSE
The NYSE now supports odd lot equity orders for marketable listed stocks. Non-marketable odd lot orders are not accepted at NYSE, but can be routed through IB's Smart Order Routing."

August was a little rough for me. I have been trading QQQ against DELL, and it beat me up in August. It did give me the push I needed to add a new rule to my method. I knew I needed this rule, I just didn't know exactly what the rule should be. I learn most of my lessons the hard way. Anyway, thanks for asking.

I think September will be a better month for everyone than
August was. I also learn most of my lessons the hard way.
Doesn't everyone? :)
