So let me ask again that there is endless left-wing media focus on Whitefish but the other small company that won a $200 million contract to do the same type of work with the same basic contract conditions has been ignored.

A small Oklahoma fracking company - Mammoth Energy announced their win at about the same time with the following release "Mammoth Energy Announces that its Cobra Subsidiary has Entered into a Contract to Aid in the Rebuilding of Puerto Rico’s Energy Infrastructure".

Do we hear from liberals about Mammoth? No, nothing. Crickets. Wonder why -- could it be the owners are supporters are Democrats? (that's a question, not a statement).

"Mammoth executives in 2016 also identified the utility infrastructure as a related business that could provide the company with steady cash flow, Straehla said Friday.

Mammoth bought Cobra for about $8 million through a pair of purchases earlier this year and has since expanded the utility business to include 58 fleets and about 275 employees."

They had a large contingent of permanent employees, have invested in their businesses (and not waited for a hurricane to hit) , are not just subcontracting with 2 employees and overcharging PR while putting in strange clauses into contracts. Plus they already worked in Texas and Florida following hurricanes.

And they don't have a relationship with someone in the Trump admin they can grease.

Actually if you read the information - ALL the workers hired by Cobra in Puerto Rico are sub-contractors. So explain to me how this is different than Whitefish? Especially when Whitefish actually has stronger financial backing.

From the article it is the same type of short-term deal ---

"The 120-day, $200 million contact was signed with the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority, but Straehla said Federal Emergency Management Agency representatives were involved throughout the process, ensuring the deal complies with FEMA reimbursement requirements.

The deal provides Mammoth with an up-front $15 million payment to help the company pay for and move equipment and people to the island."

They have PERMANENT employees and definitely more than just two which White Fish had BEFORE the hurricane hit. They didn't go on a overnight shopping spree like WhiteFish did to make a business PURELY out of subcontractors.

And secondly, they are not overcharging or putting in strange clauses either.

All the people Cobra is sending to Puerto Rico are contractors. They are not the employees which are dedicated to other projects within the mid-US region. Same set-up as Whitefish
