SMA Fee Structure

Hello Elite Traders,

Can anyone please comment on the typical fee structures in Separately Managed Accounts - Is this the typical 2 & 20 found in traditional hedge funds structures, or are lower fees normally expected?

Also in terms of collecting the fees - how does this work in practice? - do brokers typically permit fees to be transferred from the clients account directly to the manager?
