slow and bad fills on the ECN's thur and fri

Man i have been experiencing terrible execution speeds while putting in market orders through ARCA the last 2 days of this week i think i had to wait almost 10 seconds on a 1000k fill and lsot a few pennies due to this.

the securities i have been dealing with are NVDA MRK TXN SMH AMD :confused:

especially AMD was the worst... i don't get it. :(

anyone else experience the same thing..

You are not going to tell me that you are trading 1 million (1000k) shares on these symbols using ARCA market orders..... :eek: :eek: :eek:

arca market orders route out if ARCa cannot fill youir order... so those long waits were from the specialist... (at least on the nyse issues...) ON nasdaq arca will also route but I don't trade nasdaq very often.... (so I can't tell you why those executions would be slow...)

yeah, well, we all know open outcry is dead...too bad, though, cause it still works when the squirrels eat your cables or prepubescent truants hack into your system.

haha no H20 it was not that large of an order sorry...it was only 1000 shares..

well most were nasdaq securities only one was not.. Merck now that i think about it i will try to use an adware remover maybe that is the cause of the slowdown :confused:
