slightly delayed charts

When I compared the charts in realtick with the quote in the IB trader workstation, I always found that there was a delay in the charts. The IB one seemed to be the most current market values. The delay might be only 1 or 2 seconds or more when the market went wild. I found other data sources also had that problem. Is this the way of traders must live with?

Hey ADX...Yea, that's normal. I use esignal for data and
IB for order entry. In a fast market there will usually be a
tick or 2 discrepancy.

That's nothing compared to the old days. Years ago when
I had my 386 Sx55mhz, I got my quotes through FM radio
broadcast. Now, you want to talk about a delay!

Did it let you making some wrong decisions? I had made some wrong trades because of it. :mad: It may not be so important for long term traders but for me it is shit!!!!!!!
