I know it sounds like i`m bitching when I complain about taxes. but lets assume for a moment that my(or everybodies) taxes go up 17% every year like they did this year. Thats a nasty rate of growth...

Slaves perhaps not...but try and argue we are not serfs paying homage.

I prefer to try and change my country. You see, i`m a patriot. Not just a chest thumper. I care about my fellow countrymen and our future with spending running rampant.

I hate football...bunch of meatheads..

Seriously, if what you pay in taxes is the reason you are not doing well financially, then something is wrong in the equation.

If you are not interested in driving on public roads, using any public utilities, etc., having no protection from the military or police, then just hide out in Montanna somewhere, and avoid paying taxes or interaction with any human beings or government. You could probably find a spot in the desert, in Alaska where you could live and pay no taxes. Homeless people pay no taxes, there is an idea for you...

Or move to another country, right, where you pay less taxes?

Oh man, I sound like one of those "America, love it or leave it but don't dare bitch about it" people.
