Ny hoods are great places to live, especially Brownsville Brooklyn. Unlimited violence, crack, hookers, vandalism, poverty, and all the other great stuff Ny hoods have to offer. Dont forget Baltimore hoods and Chicago hoods.

Actually, NBA, NFL, MLB players etc. are all overpaid to dribble, throw or hit a ball. Where would all these players be if the NBA, NFL, MLB did not exist? Probably, in some ghetto, shooting each other or being shot at and killed in short order. Doctors, nurses, firefighters, police, military are not as valued in US society inspite, of the difficult jobs they do which at times, even cost their very lives. That is what is wrong with US society. We idolize false heroes like Lebron James and his ilk who kneel and disrespect the US flag and anthem. These clowns and their antics if they were citizens of another country will not be tolerated by that country. Can you imagine if a Chinese disrespected his flag and anthem? Hell, he probably, will be taken away and shot. All those who gave up their lives so that, we may be free and enjoy those freedoms are all rolling in their graves. And other countries are laughing at the US because of the antics of these clowns.
Currently, half of NFL players have college degrees, which is a much better ratio than other major sports leagues. The NFL has no minor-league system and recruits directly out of college. This means that many football players finish their degrees before being drafted to play for a team.
In comparison, as an example, 30% percent of the NHL players went to college for at least one season, and 71 percent of that group played at least three seasons of college hockey before turning pro. And while a professional hockey career tends to translate into a more-than-comfortable living, many players who left school early continue to work toward their degrees years later. Their motivations range from preparing for a life after hockey to fulfilling a promise made to a parent or coach to just wanting to finish what they started...similar motivations as the NFL, NBA, MLB and other professional sports.

- What's the % of NHL, NBA or NFL that grew up in the ghetto versus middle class and upper class family incomes of other NHL / NBA / NFL / MLB players family households prior to professional sports ?
- Which professional sport has the most professional athletes continuing their college education into post graduate (graduate, pHd, medical doctor, law)...which sport has the most doing such while still playing professional sport ?

We also know certain athletes have to meet a MUCH lower bar when gaining acceptance to a particular school. Do you know how many college English professors cannot spell to save their lives, and have to use Grammarly.com to write correctly?
Graduating from college, or high school, or any institution of learning, does not guarantee that they will be at the top of their class.

Well...nobody is complaining nor acknowledging the growing number of foreign basketball players in the NBA that are Europeans, Canadians, and Australians of white descent.
The foreign or international-born players are pushing out / replacing Americans that are white. International-born players peaked in 2017 and then dropped a few percentage points but are on the rise again the past few years because of bias in the immigration rules...
There's a similar ethnic changeover in the MLB with more foreign Asian players entering the MLB. I like the watch the World Little League Baseball playoffs to see the international teams excel...knowing a lot of those kids will be playing one day in the MLB.
In fact, you'll be shocked at their upbringing backgrounds and family income levels too.
People showing their racist attitudes towards professional sports has always been problematic especially when they incorrectly try to use education as an identification.
They did that with Tennis back in the 50s - 70s to only later realize the reality that international tennis players are more educated and often speak multiple languages especially those that are people of color.
- Check out this little girl...top basketball player, top juggler, top academics and something else that she did that makes her the first person to do it for her culture that's typically dominated by other people of color...
I love it when kids excel in academics and sports. We'll be seeing her in the Olympics one day or maybe developing a cure to a disease for the next Pandemic.
