They are exposed to thousands of clients/students which shapes the coach more than coach shapes the students. So the probability of a highly active practitioner"s words being time tested is more.

Lots of people believe in demonstrably false things, such as flat earth theory, that Donald Trump won the 2020 elections, and that traders can be successful by just eye balling a price chart.They are exposed to thousands of clients/students which shapes the coach more than coach shapes the students. For day trading intraday chart is enough. That is where the price negotiations happening among the traders and clearly reflected on chart. There is no data missing. Everything is available within intraday chart.

2. Stock traders digest news and events about conventional market and reflect upon their insights while trading. Thus stock prices are representation of trader's perception of conventional market.
3. Conventional market is like Sun. Stock market is like Moon. Moonlight is actually Sunlight reflected by the Moon. Similarly stock market is reflection of conventional market by a minority group of people (stock traders) not the entire nation or entire world.
4. And this reflection is registered during stock trading. Intraday trading and swing trading jointly represents the price negotiations on chart.
5. Basically everything is available on chart regarding stock trading market. Nothing is outside the chart.

As you said auction is good term. Stock traders are bidding on stocks. Prices are fluctuating up and down with the bids based on demand/supply dynamics of stock market. The point is though the entire stock market is represented by stock investors but the stock prices are controlled predominantly by stock traders.
Hence intraday chart is fully sufficient for day trading decisions.

How do you see a corporate action or earnings on the chart? Traders are bidding on the stock based upon their expectations of the future. If you don’t know why traders are positioning you won’t have an idea what the bet their trading on is.As you said auction is good term. Stock traders are bidding on stocks.
