Six 22" monitor setup

Good thing. The mobo looks a little thin.

substitute with (3) cheaper (but more than adequate) vid cards = $1200.
add 24"-30" monitors!

I'm using this thread to build a setup that's six 24" monitors with an intel i7 processor, etc., that will save me over 40% vs. buying it from a "trading computer" store.

It may be 10:30am Eastern on a Monday, but I could 'almost' go for six of these if they're ICE cold! Yum!

Have you had Fat Tire? Last I heard they didn't distribute to the East Coast.

Scataphagos and Sunshine and a few others are the real experts.But I will not refuse free beers! Ha! j/k.
What I found was the the hardware guys working at the stores are not up to par with what we need for trading. Most of the answers I heard when I asked questions about video cards or motherboards is: WHY do you need more than 2 monitors? (or more than 1 PCIe X16 slot)? Go figure.

Yes. Big Box "guys" and reps at Dell/HP are generally NOT up to speed on multi-video card rigs.
