I have been watching SIRF for the past 6 months and I think now is a good time to buy. I'm looking at holding it for a few months if I have to. I have pretty much made up my mind that I'm going to pick some up but I would like to know what you guys think. I'm mostly interested in any negative opinions anybody may have.
 
Extremely ugly on a p&f chart. It broke july 2006 support. We may be close to a bottom, but I sure wouldn't buy it until it showed some strength. That would mean it would need to get above 25.00 before I would even consider it.

You short? If not you should be. Dude, all I can say is picking bottoms is a tough business. This thing is below all support on high volume sell-offs. Trend is for a further drop.

Oversold? Possibly. But I wouldn't be getting in until it breaks the gap. Buy above $22.27 if / when it gets there.
 
Did you guys hear SIRF's forward guidance on the cc? WTF.

If you bought some at AH <10, may make a bit profit tomorrow at open, or do intraday trades. Otherwise i wouldnt touch it
