Single Screen Multimonitor

Any way to split screen and have desktop from one PC in one half and from another in another - ie. running two different PC's desktops on one monitor with screen split. I assume two physical inputs would be needed e.g. 1x and 1xDVI VGA - probably would also require monitor firmware that allowed this which is doubtful would exist.

Just run a vnc or other remote access and have the 2nd pm in a virtual window?

Heck, if we had Windows 3.1 I could just click View-->Tile Windows. But then, all my apps were DOS and weren't multi-tasking. Now I have different apps running on different machines.[/quote]

Oops, we do have that feature in Windows 8 to tile apps. Right click Taskbar --> Show windows side by side. I guess you could do that with several VNC session windows for quick organization.

From there, you could migrate to the cloud when you app outgrows your localized setup without affecting your screen/dashboard.

Yes, I laughed hard when I have read something about loser trader with like 8 monitors for whole setup, just don't do it really. You really shouldn't at all anyway. We have now something like 40" screen which we can divide like 8 times already and that's it.
