Well, I don't have that problem since I am not paying for it myself (well, I guess I am at the end, but in a very diluted form). But I can only choose my setup this one timeI was looking at the 43 inch dell to replace 4 older monitors however if it dies its one big monitor about $1000 if one of my older monitors dies $200 unless they all crap out the same day I think I'm better off with my 4 monitor set up
I saw an article on CNET recently and basically what they said was that the difference between 1080p and 4k isn't really visible UNLESS you are sitting close to the screen, which is what most traders really do. In other words, 4k is what you want when you're sitting really close like we do when we're trading.mine 1920 x 1080 the monitor I was looking at is 4k I'm not sure what the difference is in how it would look close up
As I said, I am not paying for it myself.Using a 40" 4k samsung that cost me <$300 and it kicks ass.
If you want to be a sucker and pay up for a 'real monitor' , be my guest.
A couple manufacturers are offering these giant monitors now (all the way up to 62", I think). Has anyone tried working with one that big? Is it better that say 2-3 smaller ones?
