no i didn't include any commissions, i was just seeing if it held any validity what so ever.
Trading it like he had it over the 2 months there were 3 days with no trades and that would be covering 42 trading days, so 39 trades.
Trading it with the 1:00 measurement yielded 2 days with no trades in the past 2 months so that would be 40 trades.

So, using 1 contract as an exmaple -

The first method gave a gross of +25 points or +$500. Using IB as an example $4.80 per R/T commish - $187.20 in commish - leaving a net of +312.80 for 2 months of trading.

The second method - gross +17.5 points or +$350, $192 in commish and net of $158.00 for 2 months of trading.

What does that tell you?

Trade more than 1 contract :) no?

My philosophy always has been: "KISS". The simplest systems work the best.

Is building trading expert system in Prolog is a KISS? :-)

Anybody can explain me what a KISS means?
Is it "keep it simple, stupid" or
"keep it, simple stupid" or
"keep it, simple, stupid" or
"keep, it'simple stupid"

Sorry I'm not an English speaker :)

Were is this guy that started this thread anyways.....

According to the original rules Sampson you exit at 15:00cst, if your still in...From what I understand it is a "time target" not a "price target".

Its hard to read your quote below....
