I used to use yahoo.com to retrieve old data, such as DowJones in 1929.

But recently they do NOT provide old data, if I am correct.

Where can I find old data, such as big drop data in 1929 and 1987 ?

Simple Google search finds daily downloadable DJIA data back to 1896 at Polish web site Stooq.

The .csv data file is 1.287 MB.
